We have a vast and ever‑evolving portfolio of brands primed to play an important part in everything from modernizing infrastructure around the world to enabling the next generation of electric and autonomous vehicles. /p pWe are currently looking for a bTechnical Specialist /b associated to our facility in Cavenago Brianza, Italy, to cover the North‑East area of Italy (predominantly the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia areas). /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liServe as the primary technical expert and trusted advisor for customers, mastering the full Axalta Refinish portfolio (products for light/heavy vehicles, light industry, equipment, tools including IRUS MIX, and software solutions). /li liSupport and monitor existing customers, ensuring accurate and updated customer data for distributor technicians and strategic end users. /li liImplement and install technical solutions aligned with commercial agreements, ensuring correct usage and optimal customer satisfaction. /li liPromote product ranges, technical campaigns, and new offerings; identify opportunities for growth and clearly demonstrate the efficiency, profitability, and added value of Axalta solutions. /li liPlan and deliver technical demonstrations of paint and product applications; train customers to ensure correct product use and maximize performance in workshops. /li liCollaborate closely with technical and sales teams, providing expert support during key steps of the sales process. /li liEnsure distributor technicians and sales teams reach the required knowledge level; create and share technical documentation, tools, and training materials. /li liLead and deliver professional training sessions for distributors, body shops, and potential customers, including both in‑person and digital training formats. /li liConduct technical audits and on‑site assessments, managing complaints, recommending corrective actions, and ensuring solutions are technically and commercially viable. /li liProduce detailed technical analyses and activity reports; upload findings into Axalta systems and ensure implementation follow‑up and communication with technical management. /li /ul h3Key Requirements /h3 ul liStrong technical background in automotive refinish, bodywork/paint, chemistry, or related fields, with advanced knowledge in paint application, colorimetry, and vehicle refinishing processes. /li liMinimum 5 years of experience in automotive collision repair, technical support, or a comparable role requiring hands‑on expertise with refinish products and processes. /li liWillingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (approximately 75% of the time). /li liProven experience in delivering technical training, coaching customers and distributor teams, and effectively transferring knowledge to diverse audiences. /li liSolid understanding of digital tools, IT systems, and company software; ability to train others and support updates or new system implementations. /li liStrong reporting and analytical skills, including experience creating technical reports, activity dashboards, and structured feedback for internal teams. /li liExcellent communication, interpersonal, and networking abilities, with the capacity to represent the company professionally and maintain high credibility in the field. /li liHighly autonomous, organized, and field‑oriented, demonstrating initiative, proactivity, leadership, and strong teamwork capabilities. /li /ul pAxalta operates its business in two segments: Performance Coatings and Mobility Coatings, serving four end markets across North America, EMEA, Latin America and Asia‑Pacific. /p pAxalta is an equal‑opportunity employer. 2 – Professionals (EEO‑1 Job Categories – United States of America). /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
