In this role, you will perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and field service activities across shipyards and vessels in operation. A typical day may involve boarding a vessel at the shipyard, completing commissioning tasks, interacting with customers on‑site, and finalizing documentation for handover. /p pWhile the role requires a high degree of independence, you will work closely with Site Management, Technical Office, and other internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liRead, interpret, and accurately modify electrical drawings /li liPerform commissioning and field service activities according to work plans /li liConduct troubleshooting, testing, fine‑tuning, and adjustments on automation equipment /li liIndependently perform complex repairs and full system overhauls when required /li liExecute installation and pre‑commissioning checks /li liCarry out commissioning tasks and hand over completed systems to customers and shipyards /li liLead and coordinate assigned teams during on‑site work /li liCommunicate directly with customers throughout execution /li liMonitor and report progress internally and externally /li liPrepare and submit comprehensive service reports /li liEnsure compliance with NACOS Marine QHSE procedures and customer site regulations /li liAdvise customers and promote relevant NACOS solutions and upgrades /li /ul h3Key Requirements /h3 ul liMinimum 2 years of experience working onboard cruise or merchant vessels /li liSolid understanding of automation systems /li liHands‑on experience with Platinum, XD‑DNA, or Lyngsø Automation systems (preferred) /li liAbility to read, understand, and update electrical drawings /li liStrong troubleshooting skills and ability to perform commissioning tasks independently /li liCustomer‑focused mindset with strong communication skills /li liAbility to lead small teams during on‑site execution /li liWillingness to travel domestically and internationally /li liStrong commitment to quality, safety, and professional conduct /li /ul h3Why Join Us? /h3 pAt NACOS, we empower people to take ownership, collaborate, and innovate.
