Job Overview
We are seeking an Insurance Assistant to play a key role in insurance administration, claims management, and policy monitoring within a dynamic maritime environment.
Responsibilities
* Comprehending insurance policy wording for H&M, P&I, and crew medical policies.
* Submitting claims.
* Obtaining endorsements from underwriters.
* Assisting captains with writing protest letters and advising on claim submission.
* Understanding shipyard contracts and completing waivers during refits; reviewing contracts.
* Continuously checking and amending all insurance policies on a monthly basis; maintaining renewal lists and updating as required.
* Pre‑checking proposal forms and verifying changes.
* Assisting the accounts teams with payments and reimbursements.
* Uploading and filing documents to the online box system/SP within the insurance folders when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications
* High School Degree.
