We are seeking, on behalf of a privately-owned Italian pharmaceutical company founded in 1889, a Senior Controller to join the Finance team. The company, with a solid international presence and a strong focus on research and development, offers a stimulating and innovative environment. Key Responsibilities
Management of the consolidated financial statements and preparation of corporate economic, balance sheet and financial reports; Budgeting and forecasting activities for accurate scenario analyses; Development and maintenance of dashboards and management reports for monitoring performance indicators; Detailed variance analysis down to single SKU level between budget/forecast and actuals; Accounting: reconciliation between management and statutory accounts, preparation of the Explanatory Notes, and management of relationships with auditing firms; Document management with banks and tax authorities, including Know Your Customer processes and administrative compliance.
Requirements
Degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related fields; 5-10 years of experience in Finance within international companies, preferably in headquarters or foreign subsidiaries; Experience in the pharmaceutical sector preferred, but not essential; Excellent command of Italian, with fluent English and French; Strong analytical and organizational skills; Excellent interpersonal abilities and the capacity to work closely with top management; Proactive attitude, operational autonomy, and results orientation.
Work Location and Arrangements For the first two years, the selected candidate will divide their time equally between Italy (Milan) and Luxembourg (50% in each location). What We Offer
