The role
* Proactively support the service delivery team, contributing to the success of Marine & Offshore and LR as a whole.
* Conduct surveys at equipment manufacturer’s works for verification and certification requirements.
* Provide technical assistance to Marine & Offshore Surveyors in other regions as needed.
* Manage 'management of change' processes for various clients.
* Prepare and review Performance Standards and Written Schemes of Verification.
* Support business opportunities in the local area.
* Maintain good control of assigned work, including client communication, financial management, and accurate reporting.
* Actively manage contracts with a focus on service delivery, client retention, and relationship development.
* Collaborate with colleagues across departments and business streams, fostering teamwork and supporting business interests.
* Work according to role profile and behavioral competencies, supporting team development.
What you bring
* Degree-qualified surveyor, or relevant industrial experience with other qualifications.
* Knowledge to obtain authorizations for surveying electrical and mechanical aspects.
* Experience with verification, class, statutory, and engineering standards is preferred but not essential.
* A proven track record of relevant skills and experience.
* Strategic thinking and understanding of how your work contributes to team objectives.
* Change management skills and adaptability.
* Self-motivated, with strong communication skills and solution-oriented mindset.
* Team spirit, especially in multicultural environments, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
