For the UniMi project, Renco is looking for a MEP Engineer.
Duties & responsibilities :
1. Ensure interfaces with the Construction team (HSE, Site material management, Quality Control, Construction Supervision, and Commissioning & start-up) and assist as needed for issues related to the discipline;
2. Check the conformity and consistency of technical documentation received from the Head Office, making it available to the Discipline Supervisor;
3. Analyze engineering, materials, and construction nonconformities encountered on site, involving the relevant Head Office department for corrective actions;
4. Assess the technical feasibility of construction work, providing information on the availability of documents and materials on-site;
5. Coordinate engineering activities for site procurement;
6. Communicate with the Head Office Project discipline team regarding engineering matters and seek approval for proposed design modifications before implementation;
7. Coordinate with Client’s / Owner’s discipline technical representatives on engineering issues;
8. Identify and track construction punches and be responsible for their resolution;
9. Perform technical verifications on-site;
10. Endorse, check, and update the bill of materials;
11. Interface with vendor representatives alongside the Discipline Supervisor;
12. Develop method statements (MOS), site procedures, and materials approval requests (MAR);
13. Manage site queries, including material substitutions;
14. Record changes and additions to documents resulting from construction and commissioning until 'as-built' drawings are prepared by the team.
Specific for MEP discipline :
1. Endorse, update, and adapt engineering deliverables such as HVAC and plumbing (water supply & sewage) system drawings, details, plans, views, and sections.
Required competencies :
* Ability to work in a multicultural environment;
* Team coordination skills;
* Proficiency in English;
* Good knowledge and practice of MS Office programs (Excel, Word);
* Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
Qualifications :
Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
