Ph3We’re Hiring | Cluster Finance Controller /h3 pAn exceptional career opportunity for a senior hospitality finance leader to join two ultra-luxury resort hotels in Sardinia in a cluster leadership role. /p pWe are seeking a strategic, commercially minded Cluster Finance Controller to lead financial operations, controls, and business performance across two flagship luxury properties. /p h3Primary Responsibilities /h3 h3Financial Control /h3 ul lioverseeing all sales, purchasing, salaries and expenses /li liImplementing and reviewing Financial policies /li liAudit compliance including actioning recommendations and liaising with internal stakeholders /li /ul h3Financial Reporting /h3 ul liProduction of monthly financial reporting GAAP /li liOverseeing budgeting forecasting process and long term planning /li liMonthly and annual reporting /li /ul h3Financial Performance /h3 ul liResponsible for monitoring budgets and for reporting major deviations of over-expenditure, under-budgeting or non-compliance to the approved budget /li liBusiness partner with two General Managers implementing controls, solutions, and action plans /li liAssist the General Managers in establishing local policies, rules, internal controls and safeguards that ensure profitability and control of operations /li liAdvise and provide counsel to the General Managers, HODs and finance teams on all financial matters /li /ul h3Treasury Tax /h3 ul liTreasury management, cash planning, reviewieng the cash position in order to optimize the use of funds and minimize the volume of cash being held in the business /li liReview all changes of tax laws and accounting policies, assess their implications on the business and ensure the finance team implements appropriate changes /li /ul h3Other /h3 ul liSupport the financial function of any opening of new products. /li liAssist with the accounting related to any hotel or other asset sales, product closure and ownership changes /li liTogether with the General Managers, manage the relations with third party, owners and/or partners /li liFacilitate the best communication and reporting between the Belmond regional office in Milan and the Cheval Blanc corporate offices in Paris /li liCommunicate relevant information to the Divisional Financial Controllers and the General Managers /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liProven experience as Director of Finance / Financial Controller in luxury or ultra-luxury hotels or resorts /li liStrong cluster / multi-property exposure preferred /li liSolid leadership skills with commercial mindset and hands-on approach /li liFluent in English and Italian /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liPermanent contract according to C.C.N.L.
