If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liResponsible for High Level and Low Level Design engineering and network design optimization /li liDrive increased quality of our network end to end /li liProvide HLDs, LLDs, define templates, modularize, and industrialize configuration items and their implementation /li liDeploy the network fit for purpose including understanding of how our services/applications layer will run across the network (capacity, capability, utilisation) /li liImplement Virtualisation and segregation concepts /li liConduct proof of concept (POC) validation /li liResponsible for optimal implementation process that delivers ensured quality /li liDecrease the design and implementation costs and to achieve a harmonized simplified network infrastructure /li liTake control over CAPEX budget; forecast, planning, allocation, approval process, administration /li liDeployment of the validated solution to its operational environment and deliver training /li liPlanning of Changes and support of Change Management Process /li liSupervision of external supporters and 3rd parties /li liQuality assurance in the design and implementation process /li liSupport, Test Accept/Audit the deployed solution /li liHand over the accepted solution to Operations and Maintenance /li liManage and control the different existing test environments /li liDefine necessary test catalogues and test plans /li liDocument test QA activities /li liDrive knowledge transfer and technical skill development within Network Implementation team /li liResponsible to ensure a network documentation /li liSupport the state-of-the art network documentation for the implemented solution that is aligned with Cyber Security architecture /li liEnsure the quality of the documentation /li liSupport the data population and accuracy of the Asset- and Change Management - Databases /li liResponsible to ensure network harmonisation and standardization across the Region / the local market /li liHarmonize Office LAN network environments and services /li liDrive network standards across Local markets /li liDrive + Support Network innovations as SDN /li liCollaboration and Teamwork /li liAlignment with other engineering, implementation, and operations teams in Vodafone /li liDevelopment of harmonized solutions within Regions and Cyber Security /li liShare expertise with other network teams across Vodafone /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul libCore competencies, knowledge and experience /b /li liStrong team player and appreciate working in a project organization considerable drive and interest in taking on new tasks and challenges thorough experience in collaboration with the Office IT, Data centre, service management and ITIL processes /li liIn-depth knowledge in the following areas: /li liDetailed Knowledge in passive network infrastructure /li liExpert Knowledge in networks (TCP/IP, Protocols, Structures, Hardware, Security) /li liExpert Knowledge in the area of the installation and configuration of network components (Routers, Switches, VPN Gateways, Firewalls, Proxies and others) /li liExpert Knowledge in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRF, VLAN, STP, HSRP), VOIP technology, WLAN technology, DHCP, DNS, AD /li liExpert Knowledge in network management and network analysis. Ability to design and implement network segregation and segmentation solutions /li libMust have technical / professional qualifications /b /li liAn academic degree and/or at least 5 years work experience in an IT organization supporting large heterogeneous IT infrastructures /li liExperiences in project management /li liRS CCNA or CCNP and Fortinet NSE 6 or FCSS SD-wan Certifications strongly recommended. Professional certifications are essential for advanced office LAN management.
