Overview The Global Scientific Service Medical Manager operates within the Scientific Service, part of the Global Medical Department. The Scientific Service ensures accurate scientific information is provided to Healthcare Professionals regarding the company's marketed medicinal products. The Global Scientific Service Team reports to the Global Scientific Service Medical Lead. Workplace: Firenze. Expected travel: 10% Main Activities & Responsibilities The main responsibilities of the Global Scientific Service Medical Manager include: Reviewing and approving scientific information materials and activities produced by the Global Marketing and Medical teams, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (mainly EFPIA Code of Practice and EU Directive 2001/83/EC), addressed to Healthcare Professionals; Reviewing scientific information materials for international congresses; Reviewing scientific information on medicinal products marketed in the EU and outside the EU by Group Affiliates; Collaborating with Global Medical Affairs and Global Marketing Departments; Providing training to Global Medical and Marketing Teams and colleagues from EU and non-EU Affiliates; Supporting the Medical Lead during inspections or audits within the scope of the Scientific Service's responsibilities. Job Requirements Degree in Medicine, preferably with specialization in areas such as Cardio-metabolic, Respiratory, Infectious Diseases/Microbiology, Allergology, or Pain; Previous experience in Scientific Service, Medical Affairs, or Pharmacovigilance within a pharmaceutical company is preferred but not essential; Proficiency in written and spoken English; Ability to analyze and summarize medical-scientific publications and clinical trial results; Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented attitude; Proficiency in operating systems (Office, Excel, PowerPoint), digital tools, and social media.
