PpThe bAssistant Manager /b will be responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience as well as a financially successful club. /p h3Essential Duties and Responsibilities /h3 ul liAssist in recruiting, hiring, training and developing a high performing staff consisting of Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians. /li liAssist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members and guests and ensuring staff follows superior customer service guidelines. /li liAssist with Staff Management and provide backup support to Club Manager as needed. ul liAssist in scheduling and supervising staff. /li /ul /li liMember service oversight - Ensuring staff is providing a superior customer experience at all times. /li liAssist in resolving or escalating employee issues or concerns. /li liInvolved in all front desk related activities including: ul liAnswer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions. /li /ul /li liCheck members into the system. /li liNew member sign-up. /li liTake prospective members on tours. /li liFacilitate all member requests, issues and questions. /li liAssist in overseeing cleanliness and maintenance of facility. /li liAssist in ordering of supplies using specific budget based on club requirements. /li liAssist in tracking statistics and reports (weekly, monthly, and annually). /li liBackup support for any employee who is absent. /li /ul h3Qualifications/Requirements /h3 ul liSuperior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry. /li liExperience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness. /li liSolid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills. /li liBasic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite). /li liHard working, enthusiastic and energetic! /li liCurrent CPR Certification required. /li liHigh school diploma/GED equivalent required. /li liMust be 18 years of age or older. /li /ul h3Physical Demands /h3 ul liContinual standing and walking during shift. /li liContinual talking in person or on the phone during shift. /li liMust be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. /liliWill occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift. /li /ul pCompensation: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour /p pEmployees at a franchise location are employed by the Franchisee and are not employees of PFHQ (the Franchisor).
