Soilmec SpA is looking for the following position for the Cesena headquarter:
Business Development Specialist
The candidate will be responsible for optimizing sales processes, ensuring that the CRM system is updated, preparing sales quotes, and managing orders.
Ensuring that the sales infrastructure functions efficiently, supporting Sales Area Managers in achieving company objectives.
Activities:
* Support Sales Area Managers throughout the sales and negotiation phase.
* Prepare quotes and manage sales orders through to completion, including those with foreign branches and the sales network (dealers).
* Enter and update sales data in the company's CRM system. Ensure data integrity and provide regular reports and insights to Sales Area Managers. Support and/or participate in the “Management Account System Project” for managing account data in the CRM.
* Assist Sales Area Managers in daily operations, customer visits, and company-organized events.
* Monitor and analyze sales KPIs to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide useful insights to Sales Area Managers and Company Management.
* Work within a cross-functional and matrix structure, collaborating with various departments such as Marketing, Finance, and Operations to achieve company objectives and ensure alignment across the organization.
* Conduct detailed analyses of pricing structures, market trends, and competitive landscapes to develop and implement effective pricing strategies.
* Use statistical tools and software to analyze and interpret sales data.
* Analyze and improve existing sales processes to increase their efficiency and effectiveness in order to optimize workflows.
Requirements:
* Degree or diploma in linguistics or a technical field.
* Excellent command of the Office suite.
* Knowledge of CRM customer data management systems. Knowledge of SAP ERP is welcome.
* At least 2 years' previous experience in the position in the industrial machinery and/or earthmoving sector.
* Knowledge of commercial contracts and common international payment methods is a plus.
* Knowledge of English (B2)
* Excellent listening and communication skills. Ability to analyze context and solve problems.
