Main activity and responsibility
1. Identify and resolve anomalies and faults in electronic products installed in the field, interfacing with customer support teams.
2. Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and propose technical solutions.
3. Plan, coordinate and monitor releases of electronic product updates and changes in the field.
4. Collaborate with the Engineering team to analyze, plan and implement design changes and improvements in existing products.
5. Collaborate with the System Test team to verify the correct coverage in terms of testing and analyze (and solve) any eventual issue found.
6. Ensure each release is adequately tested, documented and communicated to affected teams and customers.
7. Support the Customer Support team by providing training and technical documentation to resolve recurring issues.
8. Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support to ensure new releases are implemented without negative impacts on existing systems.
9. Monitor product feedback from customers and the market to identify potential vulnerabilities and improvements.
10. Collaborate with the Manufacturing department to resolve assembly or testing issues and optimize existing manufacturing processes.
Required Skills
11. Degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar disciplines.
12. Skills in diagnosing and resolving product problems, hardware, software and firmware.
13. Good problem solving and communication skills.
14. Experience with planning and coordinating releases of software/hardware updates in the field.
15. Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams (Engineering, Production, Customer Service, Marketing).
16. Availability for short trips to production sites or customers
Additional Skills (Nice to Have)
17. Experience in using DevOps to track issues and to plan releases
18. Experience managing DevOps pipelines and CI/CD automation tools.
19. Basic programming knowledge for debugging

20. Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks in parallel.
