With over 2500 colleagues from around the world, we combine our strategic insights, engineering know-how, and operational excellence to use the most innovative technologies to create and distribute our award-winning content.We are searching for enthusiastic and collaborative candidates looking for high-quality delivery of flexible, innovative, and easy-to-improve solutions working in an international environment.ResponsibilitiesAs Scrum Master, you will be part of the Group Content Platforms team leading Agile SW delivery teams within the line management organization based in Italy and reporting to a Group Senior Delivery Manager based in any Sky territory.In your role, you'll work with one or multiple teams to maintain, develop, and improve a cluster of services and applications enabling operational, technical, and business processes related to Contents and Content Experience for the Sky Group products and platforms.The team's main responsibilities are tech requirements consolidation, solutions detail design, delivery activities, KPIs monitoring, vendor/partners management, testing, and application maintenance.Collaborate with the other group-wide teams to consolidate, converge, and improve the Sky group solutions as high-quality software products regularly, repeatedly, and predictably through relentless focus on the customer, business value, and technical excellence.Key Tasks:Facilitate the day-to-day process of software development and delivery and ensure the agreed process is adhered to.Coordinate and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, planning games, showcases, and retrospectives.Maintain visibility of the right up-to-date information. Track agreed metrics on a regular basis.Collaborate with the Product lead and cross-programme teams to maintain a strategic product roadmap that identifies deliverables and milestones.Collaborate with the Product to maintain a prioritized backlog.Help the Product lead with prioritization and planning to ensure return on investment is maximized and that regular releases achieve strategic goals that fulfill parts of the product vision.Help the Product lead and the team to identify and articulate acceptance criteria that capture the details of user stories.Work with the team to identify and mitigate issues and risks. Clearly identify and manage external dependencies.Impart confidence in the team in their capability to achieve success.Grow an effective self-organizing, cross-functional, and disciplined team where individuals recognize that team success is more important than individual success.Key RequirementsThe right candidate will have a proven track record in: Scrum Mastering - certified or have a consulting background in agile methods; achieving successful software product delivery.Significant experience on Media/telco IT solution delivery team coordination, including mission-critical 24/7 systems and integrations developments in complex/international environments.Preferred experiences in the Broadcasting domain like TV Programs, Metadata, and Content processing solutions.Knowledge of software engineering dev and test technologies and practices, application API first technical design, and continuous delivery.Business process analysis, Agile and DevOps methodologies experience, and Cloud solutions based on microservices and serverless architectures of distributed systems.Attitude to problem-solving and a work style driven by objectives, collaboration, and accountability with a passion for technical excellence, business value, and customer satisfaction.Very good level of English both spoken and written.Available to travel in and outside Europe.Strong collaborative leadership, communication, and active listening skills to engage people on the transformation of our Platforms.Required Behaviours:Light-touch leadership that employs a highly collaborative approach to guide people without controlling them but employing authority when the situation requires.Lead by example.Be a constant source of information for the team.Liaise effectively and manage relationships with Management Team, Product Owners, and Stakeholders.Grow and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.Grow and facilitate highly motivated and capable teams to deliver innovative software products.Establish credibility with people very quickly.Facilitation, participatory decision-making, and conflict resolution.Effective organization that reduces the amount of noise, distractions, and interruptions.Mentoring skills that demonstrate the agile values and principles in every thought and action.Helping teams and individuals become agile through care, consideration, and collaboration.Ensure team members participate with the right level of respect and professional behavior.Facilitate discussions to create consensus agreement and binding decisions.Promote learning, experimentation, and knowledge sharing and encourage creativity.
