We’re seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to optimize marketing spend and drive strategic financial decisions that propel our marketing initiatives forward.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive marketing budgets with precise forecasting and performance tracking - Design financial models to evaluate campaign effectiveness and return on investment - Generate insightful monthly and quarterly financial reports that illuminate marketing spend performance - Lead strategic planning processes for marketing investments, including comprehensive scenario development - Establish robust financial controls and streamline approval processes for marketing expenditures - A day in the life: blend analytical deep-diving with collaborative problem-solving, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights; build sophisticated financial models and visualization dashboards as the financial architect behind our marketing strategy

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience - 5+ years of experience in multiple finance and accounting roles - 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis - Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying root causes and implementing escalation plans - 6+ years of delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations with proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) - MBA or CPA - Knowledge of SQL/ETL - Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
