PpNidec Conversion is hiring a bCertification Compliance Specialist /b for Montebello Vicentino (VI) /p h3SUMMARY OF THE ROLE /h3 pThe candidate is responsible for following all the direct and indirect activities related to the certification and conformity of the products developed and supplied by the company (power converters, electric drives, automation, renewable energies, and other industrial applications). /p h3MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES /h3 pIt is responsible for managing and coordinating the activities related to product certifications on the basis of company plans and programs, guaranteeing the achievement of the established objectives, in compliance with the defined deadlines and budgets. It carries out on its own or coordinates the activities related to the certification processes including: /p ul liidentification of certification requirements. /li liidentification of the applicable Regulations, Laws, and Technical Standards and, when necessary, study and implementation of the same. /li liidentification of third-party bodies and test laboratories suitable for achieving the certification purpose. /li liestablishes, in accordance with the certification requirements, the documentation to be prepared on its own and supports the drafting of further documentation by other company departments. /li liprepares the product technical file as regards the aspects of certification and conformity. /li licollaborates in the definition and scheduling of the tests to be performed in the company or in external laboratories: when required, participates in the execution of the tests. /li liensures the validation processes of company products/projects. /li liprepares the declarations of conformity or other documents relating to product conformity. /li lifollows the certification aspects connected to the projects and orders acquired in support of the Engineering, Production and Management teams. /li lisupports the phases of the commercial offer with its own knowledge. /li liperforms thematic analyzes related to risk assessment, product reliability, safety. /li liapplies the principles of the Quality Management System for the aforementioned activities. /li /ul h3QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: /h3 pDegree in electrical/electronic engineering. /p h3Knowledge and experience /h3 ul liGood knowledge of Windows/Office package is required. /li liA minimum knowledge of the principles of Quality is required. /li liA minimum knowledge of the national and international regulatory system is required: CEI, EN, IEC standards, etc. /li /ul h3Further preferential knowledge: /h3 ul lipower electronics, electric drives, automation, electronic boards. /li lithe principles of product reliability. /li liof the principles of Functional Safety applicable to the machinery. /li liof the IEC, EN Technical Standards applicable to electrical and electronic systems, drives and renewables. /li lithe principles of LCA, Ecodesign, Efficiency on environmental issues related to electrical/electronic products. /li /ul h3Knowledge of languages /h3 pA good knowledge of the English language is required, including written and spoken. /p h3Availability /h3 pWillingness to: /p ul lishort national and international trips, based on the needs identified from time to time; /li limove between corporate offices as necessary. /li /ul h3ABOUT US /h3 pNidec Conversion is a $600M Business Unit of Nidec Corporation, a $18 Billion+ global company, headquartered in Milan (Italy) and footprint in more than 10 countries.
