What are we looking for? We are looking for a System Engineer that supports our Hardware Team in development activities related to analyzers and related ancillary devices for In-Vitro-Diagnostic (IVD) applications. Responsibilities Participate to define, update and review requirements. Review the associated hardware specifications. Interact with the other development areas within System Development & Integration Department (“Software”, “Consumables” and “Assay Integration”), as per the joint development / improvement tasks. Interact with external Partners, as per the joint development / improvement tasks. Challenge the technical solutions proposed by development partners. Manage hardware installations aimed at hardware testing activities. Edit, review and perform hardware verification / validation plans. Contribute actively to troubleshooting with the instrument development Partners. Investigate on anomalous and / or uncommon situations. Interact with other Company functions, in order to provide System Development & Integration know-how and support to problem solving. Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics, the Quality Management System, the Company Policies and the Corporate Procedures. Requirements Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent. 5 years experience, particularly in development activities regarding mechanics / automations. Previous experience in IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) and / or highly regulated FDA environments is appreciated. Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) is appreciated. Seasoned experience using Microsoft Office package. Knowledge of CAD SW will be a plus. Fluent spoken and written Italian and English.
