Are you a Contract Logistics Transport Planning Manager? Do you want to work in the largest logistics company of the world? Your Role :Contract Logistics Transport Planning Manager works within Contract Logistics. In this case, She/He will operate for adidas Campus South, our new fully automated warehouse located in Mantua, which, with over 130,000 square metres, will represent an unparalleled example of excellence and innovation in automated technology operations. Contract Logistics Transport Planning Manager will be part of the Customer Service team but will strictly collaborate with Flow Planners and Operation department to manage properly carriers and transportation services. Her/His main goall will be to manage her/his team about the scheduling and organization of all trucks arrivals/departures to guarantee a proper workflow of inbound and outbound departments. In addition, She/He will interact constantly with the customer to get updated information about transportation needs and consequently align the transport strategy. - Your Responsibilities: - In line with customer service guidelines and direction, plan daily deliveries of customer's goods in collaboration with flow planning stakeholders by using TMS/OTM (transport management system) - Develop a solid interaction with the customer by guaranteeing continuous alignment regarding shipment status, potential delays, transport service schedule another information related to transport planning - To operate smoothly, provide and get information from/to Operation departments regarding workflow status, issues, delays and/or advances; whereupon adapt transports schedule by considering current workflow situations - Working with a statistical and metric approach, supervise the status of transport services and define strategies to avoid critical delays - In accordance with operation and other departments related to the local business, implement, and execute specific actions to solve transportation issues which could compromise the warehouse workflow - Build and empower a strong relationship with transport carriers’ partners based on daily interaction and timely communication to perform efficiently the transport planning strategy - Identify and elaborate easy to understand solutions (reports, dashboards, slides, extc) to show information downloaded from TMS and other transportation tools to inform and update different types of stakeholders - As a Manager, embody the company's values and integrate them into your management style to inspire your team to align their behaviours with the company's goals and work towards achieving them. - Support team members in achieving their career goals, promote work-life balance to reduce work-related stress and commit every day to talent retention and employee engagement. - Demonstrate high level of respect for diversity and take all necessary actions to embrace different perspectives, background, and experiences ensuring equitable treatment. Your Skills and Experiences: - 5 - 8 years of transport planning experience in large scale (>300FTE & >50 trucks/day) highly automated fulfilment operations with strong preference given to eCommerce / Fashion / Retail field, preferably in multinational companies with matrix organizational structure - People management experience regarding transport business areas contemplating professionals with different backgrounds, preferably in work environments where integration with customers service and Operation has been considered crucial - Familiarity with fast paced work environments with high level of planning variations and characterized by frequent interactions with customers and/or external stakeholders which required solid communication skills - Exposure to dashboard data representations with the aim of creating easy to understand ways to communicate information to different stakeholders - Accumulated wisdom about metrics and data analysis related to transport planning as practice with software’s and/or ERPs/TMSs Good Reasons to Join: A propos de KuehneNagel Mit mehr als 80,000 Mitarbeitern an mehr als 1.300 Standorten in über 100 Ländern zählt KühneNagel zu den global führenden Logistikdienstleistern.
