About the Role
The Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager is responsible for leading a team of engineering technicians in maintaining and optimizing technologies within the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. The ideal candidate will have significant practical engineering experience, including supervisory roles managing people, and a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, support, and mentor the team to ensure they are working in a safe, standard, and efficient manner.
* Work with the team and wider network to harness technical expertise and build solutions.
* Support the implementation of safety and statutory compliance programs to provide a safe working environment.
* Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to ensure equipment availability.
* Organize training programs for the team and direct them to ensure sufficient technical coverage.
* Participate in local and EU-level projects as assigned by the manager.
