Job Opportunity: Cloud Engineer for AI & Machine Learning
Location: Lecce, Italy
We are seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join a leading Italian company specializing in IT and Infrastructure Services for Consumer, Enterprise, and Business sectors. The successful candidate will be part of the Data Center department within the Engineering team, focusing on designing and implementing large-scale Cloud architectures with ML and AI systems.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Designing high-performance, scalable system architectures suitable for AI and machine learning applications;
2. Monitoring and optimizing system performance, ensuring the deployment and operation of machine learning models;
3. Collaborating with other departments to translate their needs into technical requirements and proposing new use cases and applications for AI systems;
4. Ensuring security compliance and working on diagnostics and troubleshooting issues.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
* Practical experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch);
* Proven experience as a System Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role, with a focus on scalable infrastructure;
* Deep understanding of cloud computing, virtualization, and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack);
* Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages;
* Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills;
* Good command of the English language.
