For a prestigious international architectural firm in Milan, we are looking for a Business Development Officer with a VAT number. Responsabilità The role will involve identifying and managing commercialopportunities aligned with the company’s market positioning strategy. Theselected candidate will work in close coordination with internal stakeholdersand in synergy with the in-house Tender Office. The role will include a range of activities such as: Researchingand monitoring public and private tenders and other business opportunitiesin line with strategic goals Coordinatingwith the in-house Tender Office, particularly for the management ofinvited competitions, private tenders, and unsolicited applications Completingpre-qualification questionnaires (RFQ/PQQ) and supplier registration formsaimed at generating new business opportunities Analyzingand evaluating Requests for Proposals (RFPs, RFQs, etc.) to support theNew Business team in meeting deadlines and requirements Draftingand assembling technical and financial proposals, including attachmentssuch as references, fee breakdowns, and resource schedules, incoordination with internal stakeholders and external consultants UpdatingBusiness Development databases (CRM, projects, consultants, contacts) Supportingthe organization and maintenance of the Business Development archive (casestudies, methodological reports, etc.) Profilo Requirements: Degreein Architecture, Engineering, Law, Economics, or related fields 3–5years of experience in a similar role, preferably within architectural orengineering firms, or companies managing complex bids Provenability to manage the full tender process, from opportunity analysis tosubmission Strongunderstanding of public procurement regulations and private biddingprocedures Highattention to detail and ability to handle multiple deadlinessimultaneously Proficiencyin Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel; experience with tenderplatforms and document management tools is an advantage Englishfluency is mandatory (spoken and written) Astrong inclination towards digitalization and proficiency with data andworkflow tools such as Power BI, Airtable, and similar platforms is highlyvalued Soft skills: Excellenttime management and prioritization abilities Strongverbal and written communication skills Proactiveattitude and team-oriented approach Problem-solvingmindset and ability to work under pressure Reliabilityand a high degree of autonomy in managing tasks and workflows We offer a freelance collaboration (with a VAT number) with a salary range of €40,000 - €45,000.
