We are looking for a Down Stream Process Junior Scientist within the RnA (Research and Application) department.

As part of the DSP Lab, the main activities of your daily job will be:
1. Collaborating in development, verification or improvement of purification methods of synthetic, semisynthetic or biosynthetic products by means of different separation techniques as filtration, microfiltration, nanofiltration, chromatography, centrifugation
2. Collaborating in the development of drying methods through lyophilization and spray-drying techniques
3. Collaborating in execution of laboratory and pilot scale activities aimed at process development and troubleshooting
4. Support for scale-up of processes developed in the laboratory
5. Perform in-process basic controls
6. Search and review of the scientific and patent literature
7. Activities of collecting, reviewing and managing results related to the search, drafting of research reports and scientific presentation.
8. Managing equipment logbooks, basic maintenance of the laboratory equipment
9. Management of safety records, hazardous disposal and laboratory reagents warehousing
Qualifications
10. Master degree in medicinal chemistry (CTF) or industrial Biotechnology or chemistry
11. Basic competencies and practical experience of the main analytical techniques/instruments
12. Basic competencies of purification techniques (Solid/liquid and liquid/liquid separation)
13. Experience in scientific literature search and review
14. Previous experiences in the field are preferable but not mandatory
