Ph3Overview /h3 pbJob Summary: /b /p pCelanese is seeking an accomplished EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist to drive operational and strategic trade initiatives across the region. Based in Budapest, this role will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to align compliance with business objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage expertise in EU, UK and CH customs regulations and oversee customs operations in diverse EMEA jurisdictions. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pbYOU will be involved in the following tasks: /b /p ul liCollaborate in a team of subject matter experts, ensuring compliance with all relevant rules and regulations, including Union Customs Code (UCC), tariff classification, customs valuation, and origin determination. /li liInterface with internal stakeholders (e.g., supply chain, procurement, legal, finance) to align trade strategies with business goals, providing actionable insights and recommendations for operational execution. /li liAssess and mitigate trade risks using available tools and stakeholder input. /li liMonitor customs and trade policy developments and advise stakeholders on their strategic impact on Celanese’s operations. /li liSupport cross-border trade initiatives by collaborating with regional teams and leveraging FTA benefits. /li liUtilize SAP GTS to manage relevant trade processes. /li liFacilitate and manage external audits by competent authorities, specifically customs authorities in Germany, UK, Belgium and Italy. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pbWhat YOU will bring to the team: /b /p ul liBachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Law, or a related field. /li li5+ years of experience in EU trade compliance, customs compliance / operations or similar. /li liDemonstrated experience interfacing with internal stakeholders (e.g., supply chain, legal, finance) to manage operational challenges and drive trade-related outcomes. /li liAnalytical mindset with strong problem-solving and communication abilities. /li liAdvanced MS office skills. /li liExperience with SAP-GTS is a plus. /li liFluency in English; proficiency in additional EU languages (e.g., German, French) is a plus. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pbIn exchange we offer YOU the following benefits: /b /p ul liCafeteria /li liCompany health insurance /li liEmployee Referral Program (ERP) /li liRewards and Recognition Program /li liTrainings /liliHybrid work schedule policy /li liMOL Bubi program: available for employees for commuting to the office.
