For our client, a multinational company leader in its sector, we are searching for a:
**PROJECT MANAGER.**
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Develop technical proposals to meet operational and customer needs
- Develop proposals into projects by developing detailed technical scopes of work, corresponding estimates and schedules to submit CAPEX as formal request for project funds
- Manage all aspects of approved project execution, including detail technical design, issuing technical specifications and for following standard project management techniques, managing vendors, contract engineers, and contractors for constructions, remodeling and equipment fabrication and installation
- Provide regular status updates and other communications to all stakeholders both internal and external to the plants
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities (Focused Improvements, Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), packaging systems analysis, Lean Manufacturing projetcs, etc)
- Preparation of final CAPEX request in accordance with best practice procedures. Monitor implementation of capital projects to ensure that projects are completed as planned and that approved funds are properly spent to deliver the specified ROI% results. Perform post-installation audits, reconcile financial metrics, and share key learnings for future project improvements
- Coordinate the selection, design, and layout of processing and packaging machinery
- Provide technical leadership of cross functional project teams to resolve technical and other challenges that emerge during project execution.
**Requirements & Skills**:
- Master’s Degree (Mechanical or Chemical Engineering)
- At least 5-7 years of technical experience in a multi-disciplinary environment driving improvement in process, supply chain, packaging, control systems and plant utilities
- Experience and proven success in delivering multiple / simultaneous projects and managing significant cash flow
- Knowledge of PDCA, 5Why, FMEA, RCA and other focused improvement tools
- Good communication, negotiation and diplomacy skills
- Ability to strategically lead, coach, inspire and motivate employees at all levels of the organization
- Proficient in, AutoCAD design and Office Tool
- Availability to travel up to 50% of the time to support other Plants (Ferrara and Vicenza).
