As Food and Beverage Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:Follow the posted opening and closing dutiesTake accurate and complete reservationsProvide excellent service at all timesSet and maintain the dining room environment and materials perfectly cleanHave a good knowledge of menu items to assist guests when neededAssist guests and colleagues courteously and efficientlyUse the guest's name appropriately and communicate it to restaurant colleagues and managers so they can do the sameAssist in seating guestsSupport restaurant colleagues in preparing for serviceCommunicate important information with colleagues (e.g. birthdays, anniversaries, special requests)Handle reservations and prepayments for special events, holiday brunches, wine dinners, cooking classes, etc.Coordinate set menus for small groups and distribute copies of the event form accordinglyMaintain menu cleanliness and print menus as neededInform restaurant managers daily about the reservation forecastShare information about upcoming events with the Concierge teamAssist in monitoring all guest needsConfirm daily reservations and inform the Chef accordinglyRecord guest preferencesCheck daily preferences of regular guests and update the service listAs Food and Beverage Coordinator, we expect from you:Ability to stand for long periods of timeKnowledge of the Seltz program is required.Good computer skills and strong organizational and administrative abilitiesExcellent attention to detailExcellent grooming and hygiene at all timesA good level of English is preferred.
