The company offers many opportunities for professional and personal growth. /ppThe Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and profitability of the bar and light meal services. This includes ensuring attentive, friendly, courteous, and efficient service, anticipating guests' needs, and delivering a memorable hospitality experience according to Hyatt standards and procedures. /ppThe role requires a natural flair for luxury hospitality and strong communication skills. The manager actively upsells to maximize revenue and works towards achieving personal and team revenue and service goals. /ppManagement-level associates are expected to work as much as necessary to fulfill their responsibilities. The manager develops short-term and long-term financial and operational plans supporting Hyatt Centric Murano Venice's overall objectives. /ppAdditionally, the manager serves as a role model for teamwork, fostering a positive work environment within the department and across other departments. They teach, implement, and reward employees for utilizing their empowerment to meet or exceed customer expectations. Ensuring staff demonstrate technical skills, the manager conducts regular technical training. /ppThe role reports to the Food Beverage Manager. /ppbQualifications /b /pulliDeliver exceptional guest service, reinforcing Hyatt’s values and culture. /liliAt least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a 2-year college degree and 3+ years of relevant experience. /liliProficiency in Windows OS, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing. /liliEffective communication skills, including speaking, reading, and writing. /liliAbility to maintain composure and objectivity under stress. /liliProblem-solving skills, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and resolving issues. /liliExcellent listening skills to understand and resolve concerns raised by guests and staff. /liliUnderstanding of financial data, with the ability to analyze forecast data and make judgments on payroll and production control. /liliKnowledge of hotel organization and departmental functions. /liliStrong communication skills and technological proficiency. /liliExperience with forecasting, budgeting, labor management, and purchasing. /liliAbility to maintain professional relationships and open communication channels. /liliAwareness of local competition and industry trends. /liliKnowledge of health and safety regulations and local laws regarding alcohol, licenses, and hours. /liliCollaboration with the Executive Chef and Restaurant Manager on pairing concepts and food synergy. /liliHandling guest feedback with care, including immediate recovery and follow-up. /liliHiring, training, coaching, and evaluating the bar team in service standards and mixology techniques. /liliOrganizing training sessions, including tastings and workshops. /li /ulpuLocation : /u Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina, Cambridge, MD, US. /ppOur family is always growing.
