TÜV Rheinland is investing in the Italian laboratories to improve its capability and offer new services to our customers. If you are a SAF Laboratory Technician with experience in testing electrical devices according to technical standards, and you would like to take part in a fast-growing company, take a look at this opportunity!
Responsibilities
* Perform the tests according to technical standard.
* Manage the assigned projects in collaboration with the Laboratory Manager.
* Share the tests’ results with the customer.
* Draft and issue the test report.
* Ensure the proper use of the tools, in agreement with the existing procedures and instructions.
* Register and file the raw data and be responsible for their proper elaboration.
* Support and train the junior technicians.
* Take part in internal / external audits.
Skills and requirements
* Familiarity with the testing instruments.
* Knowledge of UL technical standards for electrical safety.
* Experience in testing according to one or more of the following standards: UL 1082, UL 197, UL 1081, UL 778, UL 471, UL 563, UL 751, UL 541, UL 858.
* Technical diploma or Engineering Degree.
* 2 years of experience in the field or in a laboratory.
* Good command of English (B2).
* Excellent command of Italian.
