The Team and Role The Consumer Group at ADI is expanding its activities in battery power solutions and related PMIC development.
\n
The Personal Electronics Solutions (PES) team focuses on PMIC and hybrid mixed-signal/power developments for high-end/high-volume devices.
\n
The PES Milan team will expand its focus in Power Solutions across a broad range of IC engineering profiles and levels of experience, including Analog Designer, Digital Designer, Mixed-Signal Designer, Verification Engineer, Validation Engineer and Layout Designer.
\n
ADI is seeking aP3 - Senior Layout Designerto join the team.
\n
The candidate will be self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies and develop new products, and able to work effectively within a talented group across multiple locations.
\n
Responsibilities
\n
Design analog/mixed-signal layouts (BGAP, BIAS, ADC, DAC, OSC, AMP, LDO, Switcher, Charger) ensuring performance and quality meet project requirements
\n
Collaborate closely with design engineers to optimize circuit performance
\n
Help to improve layout methodologies within the team
\n
Troubleshoot issues and drive development initiatives within the group
\n
Technical Requirements
\n
Good knowledge of semiconductor physics and advanced layout techniques
\n
Excellent command of Cadence Virtuoso Suite (XL, analog router) and Calibre verification tools (LVS, DRC, ERC, ANT, PERC, Extraction, EM, etc.)
\n
Familiarity with best-known layout practices: device matching, critical net shielding, EM, ESD, latch-up, HV & Power FET layout, assembly constraints, multi-well isolation
\n
Education and Experience
\n
Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
\n
At least 6 years of relevant experience in the field
\n
Preferred Qualifications
\n
Good knowledge of the Linux environment, data management, and archival tools
\n
Programming experience (Cadence SKILL, C++, Python) is a plus
\n
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, multicultural, and distributed teams
\n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
Knowledge of digital implementation
\n
Good written/spoken English proficiency
\n
