Role Overview
Within this role, you will:
Be an expert relationship manager and communicator, who works closely with publishers up to C-level to ensure Amazon customers can find any book in our store, download it quickly at a great price and have an excellent experience reading it.
Be responsible for specific publisher level metrics around selection, subscription participation, and profitability.
Become an e-books expert who understands industry trends, the competitive environment and readers' needs - and innovates in response.
Work closely with leaders across the Kindle organization – locally and globally – to ensure we continue to develop new services and products.
Identify opportunities for innovation and automation.
Key Job Responsibilities
Strategic management of key publishers.
Defining category strategy/vision and executing it with stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or experience in a professional field or military.
Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
Experience with Excel.
Experience in account management, project/program management, or buying.
Experience using data to influence business decisions.
Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.
Experience with business analysis and P&L; management.
Preferred Qualifications
Speak, write, and read fluently in French.
