An international company is seeking a highly qualified Finance Reporting & Controlling Manager to join its global finance team. The position is based in Rome and reports directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for global financial reporting, consolidation, internal control processes, and the development of accounting policies across the organization. This role plays a key part in strengthening financial governance and supporting strategic decision-making at a global level.
The position manages a team of seven professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate a team of finance professionals responsible for global financial reporting and controlling activities.
Oversee the preparation and review of quarterly global budget control reports and financial performance analyses.
Manage the global financial consolidation process.
Develop and maintain global accounting policies and guidelines in line with international accounting standards.
Ensure the effective implementation and monitoring of internal control systems.
Support the design, configuration and governance of the organization's ERP system.
In the next future lead or actively support the global ERP migration and implementation project.
Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of financial data across the organization.
Collaborate with finance teams and leadership across different regions to strengthen financial processes and reporting practices.
Contribute to financial strategic initiatives led by the CFO.
Work closely with controllers in different business units and internal auditors.
Establish and develop an internal control and KPI system that allows for the analysis and review of the quality of information produced by each business unit, providing feedback on the actions needed to improve it.
Principales Responsabilidades
La persona seleccionada liderará el equipo responsable del reporting financiero global, consolidación contable, control interno y desarrollo de políticas contables internacionales.

La posición gestionará un equipo de siete profesionales.
Supervisar la preparación y revisión de los informes trimestrales de control presupuestario global.
Gestionar el proceso de consolidación financiera internacional.
Desarrollar y mantener políticas contables globales alineadas con los estándares internacionales.
Garantizar la correcta implementación y seguimiento de los sistemas de control interno.
Apoyar la configuración y gestión del sistema ERP de la organización.
En el futuro próximo liderar o participar activamente en el proyecto global de migración e implementación del ERP.
Garantizar la calidad, coherencia y fiabilidad de los datos financieros.
Colaborar con equipos financieros en diferentes regiones del mundo.
Contribuir a iniciativas estratégicas lideradas por el CFO.
Requisiti
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate combines strong technical finance expertise, international experience, and the ability to work effectively in complex and multicultural environments.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 15 years of professional experience in finance.
Extensive experience across several finance functions such as accounting, financial reporting, internal control, audit, or financial analysis.
Previous experience managing teams in international contexts.
Preferred background combining international audit firms and multinational organizations.
Preferred proven experience or strong involvement in ERP implementation or migration projects, preferably in international environments.
Strong knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools (ERP systems such as SAP or similar, Power BI, Consolidation platform or equivalent platforms).
Languages
Spanish: fluent (required)
English: professional working proficiency
Italian: advanced knowledge
Perfil del Candidato
El candidato ideal combina sólidas competencias técnicas financieras, experiencia internacional y la capacidad de trabajar en entornos complejos y multiculturales.
Formación y Experiencia
Mínimo 15 años de experiencia profesional en el área financiera.
Experiencia en diversas áreas como contabilidad, reporting financiero, control interno, auditoría o análisis financiero.
Experiencia previa en gestión de equipos.
Se valorará experiencia combinada en firmas internacionales de auditoría y empresas multinacionales.
Se valorará experiencia demostrada o participación relevante en proyectos de implementación o migración de ERP, preferiblemente a nivel internacional. xivgfpx
Conocimiento de sistemas financieros y herramientas de reporting (ERP, Power BI, Herramientas de consolidación o herramientas equivalentes).
