EMEA FINANCIAL SENIOR AUDITOR Scope of Role: Reporting to the Vice President of Internal Audit, the EMEA Financial Senior Auditor will partner with the Global Internal Audit management team and company management while maintaining independence. The role involves leading the European audit function, evaluating internal controls, operational efficiency, financial reporting reliability, and compliance with laws and regulations. The focus is on designing and assessing the effectiveness of internal controls to manage and mitigate risks. The Senior Auditor will lead audit teams in Europe and support regions worldwide as needed. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan addressing key risks. Lead enterprise-wide risk assessments to identify business risks. Discuss internal audit findings with senior management and external auditors. Provide insights on controls, ethics, compliance, and policy adherence. Review Sarbanes-Oxley Act, operational audits, and related documentation. Identify improvement opportunities, develop corrective recommendations, and oversee their implementation. Collaborate with control owners across departments to ensure policy compliance. Drive data analytics and automation initiatives. Manage relationships with external auditors. Prepare and oversee the departmental budget. Assist internal investigations and oversee special projects. Apply 80/20 principles for process improvements aligned with strategic goals. Professional Experience and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field; Master’s degree or CPA/CIA preferred. Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in internal/external audit or compliance. Manufacturing or operational experience preferred. Understanding of GAAP, PCAOB, SEC regulations, Sarbanes-Oxley, and COSO framework. International multi-location experience is a plus. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI) and audit software. Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels. Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally.
