Your responsibilities:
* Support the overall, daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager when required.
* Prioritize and improve safety at the delivery station.
* Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to meet and exceed operational KPIs.
* Monitor performance and coach team members; collaborate with supporting departments to enhance logistics processes.
* Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and improve quality.
* Interview candidates for associate roles.
* Brief and monitor workload of drivers and associates; ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately.
* Measure and monitor workflows and metrics; assist with tracking and reporting site performance.
* Train and mentor new associates; resolve process-related issues as needed.
* Work flexible shifts and overtime when required.
* Resource the team through training, absence management, coaching, and productivity monitoring.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience managing teams
* Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in logistics
* Experience with data analysis
