As a Sales Representative, you will have a direct impact on advancing patient care through Medtronic's technologies and therapies. We are dedicated to leading the market with our AfferaTM Mapping and Ablation System, innovating cutting‐edge ablation catheters, cardiac mapping systems, and traditional electrophysiology (EP) products.As a Sales Representative you will be responsible to maintain and develop CAS business with existing and new customers in line with the Italy Business Manager and business strategies in your defined sales territory while meeting or exceeding financial and non‐financial targets, in a way that enhances Medtronic's reputation in the market. In this position, the working territory will be Tuscany, and you will be expected to be located in Tuscany.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targetsDevelop, build, and strengthen long‐term relationships with stakeholders (clinical and non‐clinical), including distributorsIncrease penetration in existing accounts, develop them into potential new product and patient therapy opportunities, and develop actual non‐buying accountsProvide technical support to customers and support procedures when required (i.e., physicians, consultants, cardiologists), ensuring consignment and stock levels are controlled per asset management guidelines and targetsPlan and prepare sales forecasts by account, product, and therapy, planning meetings, customer activities, and investments for the territoryRegularly update and report comprehensive information on accounts, market trends, and competitive metrics
Required Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering / Life Sciences or other relevant degreeKnowledge of the medical device market (preferably Electrophysiology)At least 2 years of selling experience in the medical device industry, preferably knowledge of the Electrophysiology marketKnowledge of the most important stakeholders in Electrophysiology market in Tuscany region is a plusFluency in EnglishProficient with Microsoft Office and other systems applications in data processingAbility to build and maintain strong customer relationshipResult‐oriented, problem‐solving, team‐oriented, and good communication skillsAvailability to travel within the area of responsibility with frequent travel to other national/international locations as needed
