PpOur company is looking for a talented bManager, Distribution Revenue Strategy /b to join our dynamic start-up driving the transformation of the independent boutique hotel landscape. Responsibilities include educating client hoteliers of the value of our distribution vendors’ offerings and the unique terms and conditions we’ve negotiated on their behalf, assessment of unique independent hoteliers’ distribution strategies, and delivery of revenue management best practices across a broad range of independent hotels globally. Ideal candidates will be outgoing, organized, proactive, excellent communicators (both written and verbal), able to build and maintain trusting relationships, goal driven, and enjoy traveling to domestic and international boutique luxury hotels for “work”. /p h3Our Story /h3 pFounded in 2020, as a DayBlink Ventures company, DayBlink GPO manages supplier relationships for luxury hotels, so they can focus on what really matters… their guests. We are the first (and only) global luxury hospitality sourcing provider for independent luxury hotels. We’re on a mission to help them sustain and scale their businesses by leveraging billions in spend and negotiating competitively priced contracts with hundreds of high-quality and big-brand suppliers. Our elite sourcing professionals act as an extension of client hotels’ purchasing departments and pull from our membership of over 1,100+ hotels to increase their buying power. We partner with leading global hospitality organizations and suppliers, including Leading Hotels of the World, IDeaS, Hotelbeds, Mews, OpenTable, PressReader… and more. /p h3Your Story /h3 pYou are a key contributor, trusted by leadership to take on a large number of diverse client accounts, to quickly diagnose and optimize channel production across each account’s array of third party distribution partners. You enjoy engaging directly with and supporting independent luxury hotel owners, General Managers and Revenue Managers around the world to support and drive success in accordance with their distribution strategy. You’re knowledgeable and passionate about driving our clients’ 5 star luxury guest experiences and their exceptional financial performance. You enjoy working in a team environment, helping others, traveling the world, embracing the world of luxury, and building long term relationships. /p h3What we expect from our Distribution Revenue Strategy Managers: /h3 h3Engagement Delivery /h3 ul liRegularly identify, engage, assess, and offer guidance to member hotel clients on distribution strategies and optimization through Company preferred distribution agreements and report on same to Company leadership; /li liInterface directly with Member Hotels to identify low performing distribution channels and how to best position these hotels for volume and success in accordance with their unique distribution objectives; /li liProvide exceptional value on engagements; /li liPrepare and present clear, high-quality presentations, reports, and other relevant documents in an engaging and effective manner as required by each hotel engagement. /li /ul h3Distribution Strategy Assessment and Optimization /h3 ul liDeep dive assessment of member hotel distribution strategy and their goals through the Company’s distribution agreements; /li liDiagnose any technological issues in hotel rate setup as well as distribution partner receipt of availability and advise Company team and external stakeholders of the same; /li liWork purposefully with client hotels to develop understanding of rate competitiveness and optionality in rate plans and promotional rates within their region; /li liWhere applicable, assist in driving reasonable production through member hotel chain level distribution channels to the satisfaction of the member hotels; /li liCoordinate with distribution partners’ local market management teams to further enhance optimization capabilities. /li liEnforcing the terms of our current distribution agreements, including but not limited to rate parity and other contractual commitments /li /ul h3Connectivity /h3 ul liWork across key stakeholders to assist in connectivity of Company clients to Company's distribution agreements /li liFacilitate activation of Channel Manager agreements /li /ul h3An ideal candidate will have: /h3 ul li3+ Years of Revenue Management experience /li liExposure to luxury hospitality and has worked in a hotel revenue management capacity /li liExperience with third party distribution rate plans in Sabre SynXis and channel managers /li liExperience working with revenue management systems (namely IDeaS G3, Duetto, others) /li liOverall understanding of rate parity, OTA, wholesale, and general distribution strategy /li liCommitment to quality, strict attention to detail, and entrepreneurialism /li liCollaborative work style /li liComfort with autonomy and a work environment that requires you to hold yourself accountable /li liComposure under normal and high-pressure circumstances /li liStrong oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare and deliver high quality presentation documents independently and with minimal review /li liStrong interpersonal skills, experience participating effectively in a team environment and building internal and external relationships /li liStrong technical acumen and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and technical concepts /li liAbility to seek innovative and creative solutions to complex technical/business problems /li liWilling to get involved in many different aspects of the business as needed, including flexing into a business analyst role from time-to-time, if required /li liProficiency in MS Office package (Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel) /li liProficiency in G‑Suite package (Google Slides and Sheets) /li liProficiency in Salesforce /li /ul h3Required Qualifications: /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree /li liExcellent interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills /li liProven work ethic and comfort with significant workload /li liAbility to travel domestically and internationally /li /ul h3Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who Have: /h3 ul liTrack record of excellence (promoted early, recognized for their achievements, and can provide quality samples of past work) /li liEducated or experienced in the hospitality industry /li liProven ability to optimize channel mix and drive revenue and profit growth in markets with strong leisure segmentation /li liProficiency in additional languages is highly desirable and supports engagement with international hotel partners /li li3+ year post‑undergrad professional experience /li /ul h3Job Specifications /h3 ul liLocation: Remote with preference to Europe or east coast of the United States /li liCompetitive Compensation, include full benefits, travel perks and discretionary annual bonus /li /ul h3Seniority level /h3 pMid‑Senior level /p h3Employment type /h3 pFull‑time /p h3Job function /h3 pManagement and Manufacturing /p h3Industries /h3 pBusiness Consulting and Services /p pReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at DayBlink GPO by 2x /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
