We're hiring: Senior Mechatronics / Electronics Engineer
ALTO Robotics is developing next-generation robotic systems for industrial automation.
We are looking for a Senior Mechatronics / Electronics Engineer to take ownership of critical hardware and embedded system design as we move into product delivery and scaling.
What you will work on
- Design and development of electronic boards and embedded systems
- Motor control systems and sensor integration
- Definition of system architecture for robotic platforms
- Design and validation of wiring and electrical systems
- Support to certification processes (CE / Machinery Regulation)
- Coordination with external engineering partners and suppliers
What we are looking for
- Strong experience in electronic design (analog/digital)
- Experience with embedded systems and control boards
- Knowledge of motor control and sensor signal acquisition
- Experience in system-level design (hardware + integration)
- Hands-on approach and ownership mindset
- Ability to manage external partners and define effective make-or-buy trade-offs
Nice to have
- Experience in robotics or automation systems
- Familiarity with CE / Machinery Directive and certification processes
- Experience working in cross-functional product teams

Location: Italy (on-site / hybrid)
