Ph3Description /h3 pYour role We are looking for a HS Manager within our Manufacturing team in Castelgomberto, who will report to the HS Country Leader and to the Plant Manager being part of the plant One team. This role will be the primary leader for all occupational health and safety programs at the Castelgomberto manufacturing site, ensuring the factory's operations, machinery, and personnel strictly adhere to Italian safety legislation while driving continuous improvement in safety performance and culture within an industrial environment. What you will do /p ul liLegal and Regulatory Site Compliance /li liAct as the designated Health Safety expertfor the Castelgomberto site, providing technical expertise to the Employer and line management. /li liEnsure full and specific compliance of all site activities, processes, and infrastructure with relevant national, regional, and local safety regulations (., Fire Prevention, ATEX, Machinery Directive). /li liManage all safety-related documentation, including certifications, permits, and declarations to local authorities /li liLead site preparations for official inspections and external audits. /li liRisk Management and Manufacturing Safety /li liLead the identification, assessment, and monitoring of risks specific to the manufacturing environment (., machinery, chemical agents, noise, vibration, fire, confined spaces,. /li liDevelop, update, and manage the site's mandatory Documento di Valutazione dei Rischi (DVR - Risk Assessment Document), focusing heavily on risks inherent to industrial and production processes. /li liDesign and implement specific operational safety procedures and work instructions for production lines, maintenance activities, and use of complex machinery. /li liOversee the management of DPI (Individual Protection Equipment) and EPC (Collective Protection Equipment), ensuring correct selection, provision, and usage on site. /li liSafety Culture and Operational Training /li liDevelop, deliver, and track mandatory safety training programs for all site workers, supervisors, and new hires, ensuring all content is site-specific and compliant. /li liWork closely with Production and Maintenance to embed safety into daily manufacturing activities and drive a proactive safety leadership culture. /li liLead or participate in Safety Meeting with the Employer, Competent Doctor, and RLS (Workers' Safety Representative). /li liEstablish KPIs for the site and develop a monitoring / review process. /li liArrange a system of review and principles of CI to drive improvements. /li liIncident Management and Emergency Readyness /li liLead the immediate response, investigation, and root cause analysis of all site accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and manage official reporting. /li liDevelop, implement, and coordinate the site's Emergency Plan, ensuring readiness for fire, medical, and process-related emergencies. /li liCoordinate the designation and continuous training of the site's emergency teams. /li liContractor Safety and Process Management /li liManage all safety aspects related to contractors performing work on the site, ensuring the compliancefor all external activities. /li liEnsure that all contractors meet necessary safety qualifications and follow site-specific safety protocols before commencing work. /li liCollaborate with the Medico Competente (Competent Doctor) to coordinate the site's health surveillance program based on the risks identified. /li /ul h3What we are looking for /h3 ul liUniversity Degree in Technical Prevention, or a related scientific field. /li liStrong knowledge and experience with the ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) standard is highly desirable. /li liAdditional certifications in fire prevention ( CPI /. 151 / 2011 ) or process safety ( ATEX ) are a strong plus. /li li5+ years’ experience in HS roles within manufacturing or industrial environments. /li liProven ability to manage risks related to heavy machinery, industrial processes, and chemicals. /li liExperience in developing and delivering safety training for shop-floor employees. /li liSolid HS background, preferably in the Food or Pharma sectors. /li liStrong knowledge of Italian HS legislation and its practical application. /li liHands-on approach with experience in on-site inspections and walk-throughs. /li liStrong communication skills in Italian and good command of English. /li liLeadership skills to promote and sustain a strong safety culture. /li liWillingness to travel occasionally between sites in Italy. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liDiscount on Amazon products /li liAffinity University platform : Professional development opportunities for employees at different stages of their career, recognising different career paths. /li liCelebration and fun /li /ul pIf you don’t meet all the requirements, don’t worry.
