EFI is looking for a Sales Development Manager to join our Inkjet Business Division in Italy. This position will be responsible for EFI’s direct and indirect business with our customers and partners in the area. Main duties and responsibilities Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual quota objectives. Maintain and expand EFI’s dominant Inkjet position in the assigned region. Perform prospecting activities and maintain a sufficient base of prospects to meet sales targets. Prospecting activities include cold calling, proposal preparation, product demonstrations, customer analysis, and needs assessments. Prepare professional proposals to address specific customer requirements. Maximize all leads and opportunities to increase deal number and size, and accelerate the buying process. Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values. Maintain proactive relationships with all partners associated with respective opportunities. Provide accurate sales forecasting based on realistic opportunity assessments, including direct and channel/partner opportunities. Develop and execute strategies for major accounts. Ensure 100% customer satisfaction management with assigned accounts. Maintain account and opportunity updates in the CRM system (Salesforce.com). Assist in the communication and execution of Inkjet sales and marketing campaigns. Job Requirements Proven sales experience with a track record of successful sales performance, especially in high-value capital goods, services, or (digital) printing markets. Ability to leverage relationships and knowledge of accounts. Highly dynamic and motivated professional with excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proactive and autonomous work style. Ability to develop business contacts and relationships at all organizational levels. Knowledge and understanding of market trends.
