Your opportunity
Sidel is looking for Labelling Technical Support Expert Automation who will be a part of Product Support Back Office Team based in Mantova that will report to Q&TS Manager Main function in the office is to secure the operational follow up & technical support of all Labellers and associated trade equipment on mechanical side. The expert could also be asked to validate internally and externally the introduction of modifications and variants of new products in the portfolio
Your Mission
1. Secure troubleshooting on Labelling and associated trade equipment;
2. Software debug and development for new equipment or range extension of actuals;
3. Execute RCA on Labellers equipment issues, supporting the consequent plan of recovery and corrective actions;
4. Secure the application of retrofits on the Labelling products installed base, where necessary;
5. Participate to L3/L4 equipment FAT (workshop) & installation, start-up, validation, commissioning, and services (onsite);
6. Support Regional Product Support during start-up and commissioning of L3/L4 Labeller equipment;
7. Intervention on site in case of technical issues that require a specific RCA & troubleshooting;
8. Improve personal competences on SSC, labeller, and trade associated equipment in addition to line equipment’s;
9. Support in the workshop L4 prototype internal qualification (run-off, assembly, test);
10. Support onsite for external qualification of product modifications and variants;
11. Move in zones to reinforce expertise, analysis and communication within Q&TS teams.
Your Profile
12. Education: Degree in Electronic / Mechatronic Engineering and/or Technical professional qualification;
13. Language requirements: Fluency in English is a must-have, French and Spanish will be a plus; A good level of Italian an advantage for your best local integration;
14. Required experience and skills;
15. 5 years at least of technical assistance, field experience or engineering on Labellers products;
16. PLC/Motion/Hardware/Network/Mechatronic/Safety skills;
17. B&R skills is a must (Schneider and Siemens will be a plus);
18. Rigorous, dynamic, organized, proactive, ability to work autonomously;
19. Availability to travel up to 75%;
20. SAP knowledge will be a plus;
21. Knowledge of Sidel Labellers products (SSC / standalone) and process will be a plus;
22. Excellent reporting capability;
23. Strong verbal and written communication skills;
24. Attitude to problem solving (trouble shooting and RCA) and Customer oriented;
25. Good Interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.)
