 
        Ph3Engineering Operations Technician, Data Center, DCEO /h3pWe are looking for a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. This hands‑on role focuses on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation response in one of the world’s largest information system infrastructures. /ph3Key job responsibilities /h3ulliOn‑site management of contractors, sub‑contractors and vendors, ensuring work performed follows established practices, procedures and local legislation. /liliMaintain performance benchmarks and prepare reports on all aspects of critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance. /liliGenerate change‑management requests and incident‑management tickets as directed. /liliLearn and contribute to documentation relevant to business and facility operations. /liliAssist with rack installation and provision of power/cooling. /liliBecome involved with routine maintenance and emergency services on critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, cooling equipment and building monitoring systems. /liliAssist and learn about the design, implementation, commissioning and build‑out of new facilities. /liliAssist with the management of facility assets. /liliParticipate in construction and operational meetings as required. /liliAssist with work‑order compliance and review of contractual SLAs. /liliInterface with infrastructure operations teams for day‑to‑day operational requirements. /liliAssist in the resolution of any infrastructure engineering or services issue. /liliDeliver exceptional customer service and satisfaction. /liliMeet daily hours of operation, shift and on‑call requirements for response during shift rotations. /li /ulh3A day in the life /h3ulliMonitor alarms and systems that manage power, cooling, and fire suppression in the data center. /liliCoordinate vendor work on‑site to ensure equipment is maintained and uptime is preserved. /liliSupport other teams and sites during events and planned works. /liliHandle rack installations and power up equipment. /liliMonitor and facilitate the handover of new equipment. /liliShare knowledge and support new team members. /liliParticipate in event response drills. /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliHigh school or equivalent diploma. /lili1 to 4 years of knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory; generic mechanical room infrastructure such as chillers, cooler units, fan controls, and backup generator systems. /liliStrong attention to detail. /liliAbility to prioritize in a complex, fast‑paced environment. /liliEagerness to learn, motivated, and self‑starter. /liliGood communication and coordination skills. /liliMust be able to participate in on‑call rotation and work overtime when required. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliDegree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant discipline and professional certification in electrical, mechanical, or controls engineering. /liliExperience in operations of critical facilities (heavy industry or data centers) requiring in‑depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems and data center engineering experience. /li /ulh3Equal Opportunity Employment /h3pAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
