Senior R&D Manager – Environmental Services / Recycling (Mandatory Industry)
Location: Near Asolo / Bassano del Grappa area (Treviso), Italy
Job Description
The selected candidate will play a key role in the Research & Development department, working within an international and structured environment, in close collaboration with both local teams and international headquarters.
Main responsibilities include:
* Leading R&D projects focused on waste treatment, recycling and material recovery processes
* Developing innovative solutions to improve sustainability and process efficiency
* Supporting the industrialization and scale-up of new technologies and processes
* Collaborating closely with operations, engineering and commercial teams
* Monitoring industry trends, technologies and regulatory developments
* Contributing to innovation and continuous improvement projects
Requirements
* At least 5 years of experience in R&D roles within environmental services, waste management, recycling, or closely related sectors (mandatory)
* Degree in a technical field (Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering or similar)
* Strong background in industrial processes related to waste treatment, material recovery or circular economy
* Proven experience in translating research into practical and scalable solutions
* Fluent English (mandatory for international collaboration)
* Good knowledge of digital tools and data analysis systems
