We are seeking a Compliance Officer (Officer level) to oversee and provide guidance on Investment Services and Global Delivery products for State Street Bank International GmbH - Italy Branch. Responsibilities include: Supporting the Compliance Oversight Program (COP), especially in depository and custody areas. Assessing risks and recommending compliance strategies based on risk identification. Providing compliance advice on laws and regulations such as custody, PSD, MiFID, Market Abuse, and 231/01. Conducting testing and reporting within Compliance Advisory Reviews. Working independently on assignments and consulting with senior staff as needed. Coordinating resolution of compliance issues. Communicating regulatory developments and policy updates. Supporting regulatory exams and investigations. Reviewing colleagues' work for accuracy and compliance. Facilitating compliance training and education programs. Participating in risk management projects. Building relationships with internal and global compliance teams. Reporting risk and compliance issues. Completing mandatory training. Suggesting process improvements and supporting team tasks. Qualifications and Skills: Ability to make independent decisions and develop solutions. Strong understanding of policies, procedures, and controls. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Analytical and detail-oriented with project management skills. Experience in compliance advisory roles in custody, fund administration, or investment services is a plus. Education & Experience: Degree in a related field (MA, MSc, BA, BS) or equivalent experience. 4-5 years of relevant experience in risk, compliance, legal, or audit within financial services.
