Who are we looking for and what will you be doing?
As a Reservation Agent
, you play a key role in shaping the guest experience from the very first interaction. You will be responsible for managing room reservations, handling requests with accuracy and care, and supporting the overall revenue strategy of the hotel. Though not guest-facing, your contribution will have a direct impact on guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
You will be expected to perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
* Handle individual and group reservation requests via email, phone, and internal systems in a timely and professional manner
* Ensure all bookings are accurately entered into Opera System (PMS)
* Respond to modification and cancellation requests with efficiency and courtesy
* Provide accurate information regarding room categories, rates, packages, and hotel services
* Support upselling strategies to maximize revenue where appropriate
* Maintain organized and up-to-date records of reservations and guest preferences
* Follow Hilton brand standards and internal operating procedures
* Attend training sessions and meetings as required
* Support other departments when needed to ensure seamless guest service
Skills
Reservation Agents at Hilton work behind the scenes, but always on behalf of our guests. They are detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative professionals who play a vital role in the overall success of the hotel.
While this is an entry-level position, to succeed in this role you should demonstrate the following attitudes, behaviors, skills, and values:
* Previous experience in reservations, hospitality, or other administrative/customer service roles
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Positive attitude and professional demeanor
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
* Proficiency with computers and reservation systems (Opera knowledge is a plus)
* Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
* Fluent in
English and Italian
