The Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst.
In this role, you will help interpret and address the needs of modern enterprises by designing and implementing advanced analytical solutions. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and develop scalable data solutions on Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDWH) and Data Lakes.
A strong command of SQL and experience working with EDWH environments are essential. You will also contribute to the creation of data marts, dashboards, and KPI-driven reporting solutions that turn data into actionable insights.
💻 Responsibilities
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, understand, and translate functional requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the successful implementation of use cases.
* Design and implement data flows on EDWH and Data Lake environments, integrating the necessary data sources to support business needs.
* Perform data cleaning, preparation, and transformation activities to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
* Apply data quality processes and validation techniques to maintain data integrity across analytical workflows.
* Develop data models tailored to specific business use cases, enabling effective analysis and insight generation.
* Work closely with dashboarding and data visualization specialists to build impactful dashboards and reports that clearly communicate business performance and KPIs
🛠️ Requirements
* Fluent knowledge of the Italian language is required.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
* At least 2 years of experience in data transformation, data modeling, and data analysis within Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDWH) environments.
* Experience with platforms cloud such as AWS, Azure Synapse, GCP and Teradata.
* Experience with Databricks or Snowflake is considered a plus.
* Strong technical knowledge of SQL and at least one EDWH-related SQL dialect.
* Good understanding of Data Modeling methodologies and Data Visualization principles.
* Knowledge of Power BI is considered a plus.
* Good knowledge of Python.
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into data models and KPIs.
* Familiarity with business processes in at least one of the following industries: insurance, telecommunications, banking, or utilities.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain continuous alignment with stakeholders throughout all project phases.
