Ph3Experteer Overview /h3pAs Italy Tax Manager, you own the Italian tax agenda, ensuring compliance for corporate income tax, VAT and related obligations while managing tax risk. You act as a tax partner to operations and finance, embedding tax considerations into decisions and group policies. Based in Lippo di Calderara, you will lead Sime tax processes, liaison with authorities, and drive continuous improvement. This role offers exposure to a multinational tax environment and strategic impact on business performance. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliEnsure compliance with Italian tax regulations for CIT, VAT and other applicable taxes across Italian entities; prepare and file annual and periodic tax returns /liliIdentify, assess and mitigate tax risks; enhance processes, controls and efficiency /liliCollaborate with Internal Audit and external auditors on tax compliance activities /liliManage tax and accounting implications of CIT and VAT grouping regimes; draft related documentation and support Finance /liliHandle current and deferred tax implications from IAS/IFRS adoption (IAS19, IFRS2, IFRS16) /liliIdentify tax-saving opportunities in line with laws and Group policies /liliAnalyze VAT issues (supply chain flows, triangular transactions, import/export) and assist Finance in VAT accounting /liliLiaise with Italian tax authorities; manage inspections and audits; prepare and submit required documents /liliMonitor changes in Italian tax law to maintain technical expertise /liliOrganize and deliver tax training to raise awareness of regulations and Group policies /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor in Law, Economics, or Finance (Master in Tax Law preferred) /liliLanguages: Fluent English/Italian /lili10+ years of experience in Italian tax compliance and VAT, within tax advisory or similar environment /liliAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office /liliSAP or other ERP knowledge preferred /liliStrong ability to analyze financial and tax data and translate into compliant solutions /liliSolid business acumen and practical tax solutions mindset /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
