For the restaurants within our facility, we are looking for a Restaurant Hostess/Steward for Borgo Santo Pietro, an award-winning five-star luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Tuscan countryside, surrounded by a 300-acre organic farm, vineyards and wonderful gardens.
The individual is responsible of managing restaurants’ reservations, assisting, greeting, and seating restaurant guests. He/she has to provide an enjoyable dining experience by ensuring that customers have everything they need.
Main responsibilities:
* Welcome guests warmly, providing all the necessary information and support.
* Take and manage reservations over the phone, by email or in person.
* Manage seating optimization.
* Escort customers to the table and make them comfortable.
* Constantly coordinate with other departments, such front office and concierge, to ensure a smooth reservation process and communication flow.
Candidate profile:
* Fluent level of English languages is required; knowledge of an additional language is considered a plus.
* Previous experience of at least one year in a similar role, preferably in luxury hotels.
* Excellent customer service attitude and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to details.
* Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work and coordinate with team.
* Problem solving skills and proactivity.
