The role:We are seeking a Food Technologist for the R&D team, specializing in the development of fat-based fillings. In this role, you will support the Research and Development team throughout the entire process of creating new products, from defining innovative recipes to ensuring successful industrial-scale production.What will you do:
Conduct research on new chocolate formulations, ingredients, and production techniquesDevelop and test prototypes to enhance taste, texture, and shelf life while ensuring high-quality standardsWork closely with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and quality assurance, to implement R&D projectsEnsure compliance with food safety regulations, labeling requirements, and industry standardsDocument findings, prepare technical reports, and present research outcomes to stakeholders
Requirements:
Education: Degree in Food Science & TechnologyProfessional Skills: Experience in R&D / QC, product development, or food processing, in the chocolate or confectionery industryExperience: At least 2+ years of experience in a similar role, specifically in chocolate productsLanguage Skills: Proficiency in English is mandatory. Additional language skills are a plus.Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteBehavioural Requirements: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work in dynamic context. Strong relationships skills
