Global Logistics Coordinator
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the autonomous handling of worldwide transports involving all means of transport, including heavy lifts. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective time management, and a strong ability to work independently.
The primary responsibilities include:
Main Tasks:
* Preparing and checking import and export relevant documents.
* Organization of shipments within the European Union, cross-trade, import/export from and towards third countries, and domestic deliveries.
* Handling orders with Letter of Credit (L/C).
* Supporting the organization with packing, lifting, lashing, and securing know-how.
* Asking for freight quotations including feasibility checks.
* Management of freight and packing costs - cost control.
* Ensure 3rd Party Logistics providers compliance with legal requirements regarding export documentation, sanctions, and export control.
* Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
* Complying with trade compliance requirements, including export control and sanctions.
* Sales support during the sales phase in the area of foreign trade.
Candidate Profile:
We are seeking an individual with the following skills and qualifications:
* Completed commercial education, further education as foreign trade specialist.
* At least 6 years of operational experience in foreign trade, preferably in global project business.
* Knowledge of the SAP (R3 or S/4 HANA) system.
* Knowledge of trade compliance.
* Experience in export control and sanctions would be an advantage.
* English - business fluent and contractual level in both oral and written communication.
