Industrial Risk & Audit Coordinator – Italy

About the Role
As part of the reinforcement of our Duty of Vigilance framework and to improve our industrial operations, we are seeking a specialist based in Italy.
This individual will monitor the qualifications of our production suppliers' value chain, ensure its full operational control, and contribute to the overall risk management and compliance strategy.
This specialist will report to the Internal Control & Compliance Director in HQ, Paris.
Job Responsibilities
Suppliers' Onboarding Monitoring:
Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments on potential new suppliers, including financial health, operational capabilities, and ethical conduct.
Verify supplier compliance with LVMH or Givenchy's internal policies, codes of conduct, and international labor standards through document review and background checks.
Analyze supplier certifications, quality management systems, and other relevant accreditations to confirm operational excellence and reliability.
Prepare comprehensive onboarding reports detailing identified risks, compliance status, and recommendations for approval or rejection of new suppliers by Business Teams.
Audit Coordination & Field Visits:
Coordinate external and internal production suppliers' audits, potentially leading and improving risk & audit practices within the industrial division.
Monitor production suppliers onboarding performed by industrial departments and the collection of the required documentation.
Analyze audit reports to identify critical points.
Report all information on internal tracking tools.
Conduct factory visits with a focus on social/labor practices and subcontracting to ensure compliance and mitigate reputational risks.
Analyze audits from other Group Maisons when a supplier is shared and trigger alerts when necessary.
Provide support and guidance to suppliers for improvement.
Non-Conformity Monitoring & Corrective Action Plans (CAP):
Build and monitor corrective action plans with suppliers.
Verify closure of actions with documented evidence.
Maintain a complete and up-to-date Due Diligence track for each supplier.
Traceability & Duty of Vigilance:
Lead suppliers mapping campaigns in collaboration with the Production team at each new collection launch.
Analyze and challenge data collected into the supplier qualification database and ensure data is updated across all systems.
Contribute to the monitoring of Tier 1 & 2 audits in coordination with external auditors, internal teams, and Group tools.
Monitor and oversee the supplier's mapping platform.
Coordinate the Duty of Vigilance Committees within the Maison across multiple departments (BU, Legal, Purchase, CSR, Compliance).
Coordinate audit results, follow-up, alerts with LVMH Duty of Vigilance Teams.
Data, Reporting & Digital Tools:
Maintain tracking files and KPIs in Excel.
Ensure consistency and reliability of data in Excel, Power BI, and Group tools.
Prepare monthly / quarterly reports, delivering regular reports and updates to internal stakeholders and the Industrial Risk Management Board.
Maintain a live dashboard of audit progress.
Internal Control Focus:
Develop and execute audit plans based on HQ and Group priorities, including follow-ups, using group methodologies.
Identify and collaborate with stakeholders to improve key processes.
Provide governance onboarding support to staff and collaborate with the Organismo di Vigilanza (Supervisory Body).
Profile
Master's degree or equivalent, preferably in economics or engineering.
At least 5 – 7 years of experience in supplier audits and compliance, with strong knowledge of the textile environment and garment value chain, ideally in luxury fashion.
Solid understanding of external production ESG compliance risks in luxury fashion, proficiency in audit/risk assessment methodologies, and knowledge of Italian law ****** and emerging Duty of Vigilance laws.
Passionate about textiles and workshops, understanding of garment construction processes, textile testing, production flows, and the Italian industrial ecosystem.
Strong analytical and synthesis skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and good knowledge of Power BI.
Comfortable analyzing social documentation (working hours, payroll, attendance records); knowledge of Italian labor regulations appreciated.
Fluent in Italian and proficient in English or French.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively interact with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Organized, rigorous, reliable, comfortable in the field, able to challenge suppliers with tact, and demonstrate strong follow-up discipline.
Excellent written and verbal communication, comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization.
Proven leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel regularly within Italy to supplier sites (up to 50 %).
