In GCAP HQ Reading, you will own and advance the Requirements Engineering capabilities, guiding end-to-end lifecycle management and traceability across multi-partner programs. You’ll lead the transition from legacy RM tools to a target platform, ensuring data quality and robust integrations within the digital thread. You’ll translate engineering needs into a clear roadmap and prioritized backlog, shaping reference architectures and governance for requirements. This role offers influence across teams and suppliers in a complex aerospace/defence context with meaningful impact on program delivery and certification.

* Own the delivery and continuous improvement of Requirements Engineering capabilities and the target platform
* Provide expertise in requirements lifecycle management across elicitation, decomposition, allocation, interface specification, verification and validation linkage, baselining, and change control
* Translate needs into a target‑state roadmap, transitional plan, and prioritized backlogs for pilots, migrations, and integrations
* Advise on quality, taxonomy, naming conventions, link semantics, review workflows, and suspect link management
* Plan and execute data migration and consolidation including mapping, harmonization, baselining, and post‑migration validation
* Coordinate delivery across internal teams and suppliers with clear ownership during interim and target‑state operations
* Manage relationships with IBM and system integrators for DOORS NG, Global Configuration, and OSLC/ReqIF integrations; run de‑risking pilots and evaluations
Responsabilità
* Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
* Service Management certification (e.g., ITIL) or equivalent
* Project or Programme Management certification (e.g., APM, Prince2) or demonstrable experience
* Minimum 10 years delivering requirements engineering in complex programmes
* Proven aerospace/defence programme experience with strong traceability and configuration control
* Strong knowledge of model-based systems engineering and digital thread enablement
* Strong financial and resource management skills for transitional and target‑state operations
* Experience with DOORS/DOORS NG configuration and cross‑tool integration (Cameo System Modeler, TeamCenter)
