Finance > Regional MED > Finance Service MED As a member of the regional Finance team, the Finance Controller is a key finance anchor point and trusted business partner for the Service business unit. Responsibilities Analyze actual performance of the business cluster, focusing on deviations compared to planned performance. Provide and present executive summaries of performance to the Service Management team. Contribute, agree, and follow-up on actions. Perform controlling activities related to sales and contract execution phases. Support month-end finance processes according to Vestas Standard Operating Procedures and ensure timely and accurate closure of financial statements for the Region and Group. Coordinate monthly forecasting processes, ensuring business accountability and ownership. Oversee and improve SAP data quality input from the organization. Act as a gatekeeper of risks related to the financials of the Service business unit. Qualifications University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar. 3-5 years of relevant experience in project cost controlling, financial analysis, and business performance management within multinational companies. Solid accounting knowledge; experience with POC (percentage of completion) accounting method is a plus. Experience with SAP, SAP/BI, or SAP HANA. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Full professional proficiency in English and Italian is required. Competencies Advanced analytical skills, teamwork orientation, and a positive mindset. Good communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders. A curious mind with investigative abilities, enjoying data analysis.
