Field Commissioning Engineer - Automation Filler
Your Opportunity
Field Commissioning Engineer will report to Field Commissioning Engineer Manager. The main focus of the role will be to perform start-up, commissioning and test of Sidel's high complex equipment supplied to customers' plants; provide technical assistance during and after warranty period of high complex machines and troubleshooting in case of technical issues; and support internal and external qualification of prototypes and technical modifications.
Your Mission
* Start up, commissioning, test and services on fillers of high complexity
* Technical assistance onsite during and after warranty period for high complex machines
* Intervention onsite in case of technical issues that require a specific RCA & troubleshooting
* Improve personal competences on complete combi, trade associated equipment and line equipment
* Support in the workshop for internal qualification of prototypes (run-off, assembly, test)
* Support onsite for external qualification of technical modifications and variants
* Responsible for equipment performances at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications
Your Profile
* Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Technical professional qualification
* Fluency in Italian and in English is a must-have; a good level of French or other languages is a plus
* Experience in cabling and testing of complex machinery or field and service activities or technical assistance would be an advantage
* Deep knowledge of automation devices (PLC, HMI devices focused on motion control of main brands such as Allen-Bradley, Elau/Schneider Electric, B&R and Siemens) and communication networks
* Capable to manage stressful situations
* Organized, able to conceptualize ideas into professional reports
* Attitude to problem solving (troubleshooting and RCA) and customer oriented
* Good interpersonal skills, especially ability to communicate with different target groups (technicians, customers, etc.)
* No restrictions to traveling worldwide
